A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
Speaks for itself. I cannot add anything to make it relate better. This is like a healing balm to my soul in the wake of what has happened and what lies ahead for my little boy. Praise the LORD!
The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness. Jeremiah 31:3

I personalized verse 4
indeed, he who watches over DS#1 will neither slumber nor sleep.
Very reassuring to know God is in the midst of it all, watching over your family.
Comfort no matter what happens. I look foward to meeting the COMFORTER.
Thank you for posting this today. I am writing an obituary for a friend's son, and Googled your site. This was his favorite scripture, and it is bringing us so much comfort.
God bless and comfort you and your family.
